Western Asset’s Legal and Compliance team develops and maintains programs focused on conducting business in compliance with industry regulations, client guidelines, and company policy. We provide advice and recommendations on legal and regulatory matters and work hard to instill best practice. Regulatory compliance, portfolio compliance, and legal and corporate secretarial functions are integrated within one department, allowing a free exchange of expertise and experience. Success hinges on working closely with a range of other departments including portfolio management, client service, and investment operations, with an increasing emphasis on technology. It’s a dynamic environment where your skills will thrive and grow.
