An internship with Western Asset offers you broad exposure to our organization and the opportunity to take part in a live business project. It’s the ideal way to start building your future career while you are still at school. This highly structured program develops skills that aren’t taught in the classroom. The focus is on delivering a specific project that is both valuable to the business and appropriate to your level of education. You’ll present your findings back to your colleagues, including those working abroad, so you can really make an impression.

It’s a great way to kick-start your career, working alongside other interns as well as members of our full-time team. We’ll give you access to Western Asset University, where you can take courses on everything from team-building to presentation skills. Through lunch-and-learns and other development sessions, you’ll start to build a picture of our business and a network of valuable contacts. And you’ll have fun together too – there are social activities put on throughout the summer.
